Recipe: Breakfast to Go, Chocolate Style

I told my husband about my idea for today’s post and he asked me, again, where I come up with these things. I am not sure I know either. But anyhow, it sounded like a good idea at the time. A few months ago I posted about an idea of Breakfast to Go. It was essentially a sweet roll, but instead of sweet stuff, there would be bacon pieces, potatoes, cheese, onion and what ever else you wanted. It worked out well because you could freeze the rolls and then grab one, warm it up and enjoy.

Well since then, I have decided to focus more on chocolate and decided to create a Breakfast to Go recipe, Chocolate Style. I took one of the only recipes that I like white chocolate in and turned it into a breakfast roll. The steps are basically the same as Breakfast to Go, but I will repeat them here.

Step 1- Make a basic roll recipe, feel free to use my family bread recipe.

Step 2- Roll out the dough on a floured surface. I rolled mine out to about 1/4 inch thick.

Step 3- Spread melted butter over the dough (this part can be optional).

Step 4- Sprinkle white chocolate pieces, craisins and macadamia nuts over the surface of the dough.

Step 5- Starting at one end of the dough, roll the edge of the dough up and continue until the entire dough piece is rolled into a ‘log’

Step 6- Cut in one inch pieces and place on greased baking tray.

Step 7- Bake for 15 min, or until edges golden at 350 degrees F.

Step 8- Add White Chocolate Drizzle as desired.
