I told my husband about my idea for today’s post and he asked me, again, where I come up with these things. I am not sure I know either. But anyhow, it sounded like a good idea at the time. A few months ago I posted about an idea of Breakfast to Go. It was essentially a sweet roll, but instead of sweet stuff, there would be bacon pieces, potatoes, cheese, onion and what ever else you wanted. It worked out well because you could freeze the rolls and then grab one, warm it up and enjoy.

Well since then, I have decided to focus more on chocolate and decided to create a Breakfast to Go recipe, Chocolate Style. I took one of the only recipes that I like white chocolate in and turned it into a breakfast roll. The steps are basically the same as Breakfast to Go, but I will repeat them here.
Step 1- Make a basic roll recipe, feel free to use my family bread recipe.
Step 2- Roll out the dough on a floured surface. I rolled mine out to about 1/4 inch thick.
Step 3- Spread melted butter over the dough (this part can be optional).
Step 4- Sprinkle white chocolate pieces, craisins and macadamia nuts over the surface of the dough.
Step 5- Starting at one end of the dough, roll the edge of the dough up and continue until the entire dough piece is rolled into a ‘log’
Step 6- Cut in one inch pieces and place on greased baking tray.
Step 7- Bake for 15 min, or until edges golden at 350 degrees F.
Step 8- Add White Chocolate Drizzle as desired.

White Chocolate Drizzle
12 ounces white chocolate
3 T marshmallow creme
1/4 cup milk
Heat in a sauce pan together over low heat until smooth.
Enjoy!

Craisins and Macadamia nuts…that just sounds gooooood!

As it should. My poor little ears always perk up… “Did someone say chocoalte?”
I know how that goes!
Sounds great! Bookmarked it to try it soon!
I hope you enjoy it. We pretty much will use any excuse for chocolate at our house…
Sounds delicious and since my husband is a chocolate lover, I can see him doing this very recipe.
I love it! Thanks for sharing.
You are welcome. Enjoy! And thanks for coming by!
Chocolate for breakfast? Sign me up! These look quite simple to make and would certainly make a great quick meal on the go.
We love using the original breakfast to go recipe for that. I thought I would make a chocolate themed one for fun and it turned out pretty good!
Oh my goodness is this tempting. I am putting this in my must make file.
We put the rest in the freezer, to be enjoyed soon! The original breakfast to go recipe has been one of my most popular posts, so I thought I would make it a little more chocolatey.
That’s something which I can eat anyday for breakfast.. yummy!!!
Ha, ha. I love breakfast, especially when it is dessert. Enjoy and thanks for coming by!
That looks delish Momma! I’ll give my Mom the recipe so we can try it out. Maybe without the nuts!
Or replace it with other nuts… I was trying for a bit of protein. Anyway, hope you enjoy them!
This looks sinfully delicious!
I think it will be better with brown chocolate… working on a recipe concoction there.
Thanks for coming by!
Sounds like a yummy breakfast even for sitting in front of the fire for a leisure day!
I just love bread… and chocolate. So that in pretty much any combination.
Thanks for coming by!
Super YUMM! I think I might save this for a special Holiday morning treat when my boys are out of school.
So excited for the holidays! Thanks for coming by!
