I would like to say I will do anything for chocolate… but being on television was a tiny bit terrifying. And fun. As you may have noticed I do not mind at all talking about chocolate… but on television? I braved it. I went on our local station to talk about the Shot of Chocolate party and I lived to tell about it.
Party updates:
Another really cool thing happened today. As soon as I finished the television segment I went out to my car, called my husband and then checked my email. Sitting in my inbox was a note from a company associated with the new James Bond movie, Skyfall. They emailed me and wanted to provide screening tickets and swag for the party! Cool!
I also picked up the chocolate themed gift basket from Whole Foods. Thank you! Almost done rounding up the prizes… I cannot believe the party is less than 2 weeks away!
I also received the gift basket from Butchers Bunches and Spirit Goat Soaps. This gorgeous little basket includes treats from Butcher’s Bunches and soaps from Spirit Goat. Did you know that there is such a thing as chocolate soap? Check out this picture of the soap in the gift basket… almost cute enough to nibble!

Thank you for all your support. Don’t forget that any donation or ticket purchase is tax deductible as this is for a non profit.
Chocolate love to all!

Congrats for being on tv. that is cool about seeing the new bond movie before it comes out. good luck with it all
Still keeping our fingers crossed. First time event… Thanks for coming by!
You did an excellent job Gina! You are doing something really great. I thought the ‘on television’ part was just a “bold in pink” mention, not an actual link until I clicked it. I am going to schedule this to tweet.
Thank you for scheduling the tweet! That will be a highlight of my day.
Good for you!!! So cool.
Thank you!
So jealous you get to see Skyfall early! I’ve been waiting for the next addition to the Bond franchise and I am so excited! I can’t wait!
Well, I probably won’t get to see it early now. We have had enough people sign up for the party that there will not be any leftovers. However, I have watched James Bond movies with my dad since I was little and this is one preview I would not mind seeing.
That’s fantastic. I too am scared of the TV but I have to get over it if I want to do press releases.
Good job!

Ya, I think it is something I am still trying to get over. Long story, but speaking on my humanitarian trips in Africa helped. Thanks for coming by!
You rock girl. Your efforts will make the party a success. I contacted a few people I know who might be able to help with donations and participation. You might want to contact radio stations for a promotion piece on the party. Many do spots for charitable events for free.
Thank you for the ideas! I had no idea that a fundraiser, especially one involving chocolate would be this hard of a sell.
Oh well.
Glad you made it through =)
That soap it tooooooooooo sweet!!!
I never thought of having chocolate soap until it showed up in the gift basket! My friends know me too well.
Wow you’re a busy lady– Skyfall is suppose to be a good movie have fun at the screening!
I have no idea how they found me. Oh well, excited to pass out screening passes to everyone!
Wow being on TV must have been terrifying and exhilarating at the same time.
I don’t think I’d be able to pull it off without doing something totally weird.
Knowing my little nuances, I kind of did. But it actually turned out better than I thought.
Thanks for coming by!
That soap is really cute! Congrats on your tickets and on being a TV gal now!! Woot!
There are times when I look at an actress career and think that is looks a bit fun because they get to do so many things. Then I go on TV… never mind.
Thanks for coming by!
