Attention all of my friends that enjoy a good alcoholic beverage. Attention all of my friends that do not. I wanted to let you know that I will soon be enjoying my first shot- of chocolate. Want to come?
First I will fully admit that yes, it is chocolate insanity that leads to such a crazy idea.
Previously I posted about being a superhero and commenting for Blogust to save a life. Well superhero’s, I have your next mission. I hope you will join me for the remainder of September, the month of October and raise money for Shot@Life. Shot at Life is a non profit that raises money to provide vaccinations to kids in developing countries. Without these vaccinations kids are not able to survive what would otherwise be very preventable diseases. Only $20 provides these life saving vaccinations to a single child. One ticket to this party will save a child’s life.
Now for the tasty details.
We are organizing a chocolate party for in Salt Lake City, UT. This delightful event will occur at Caputo’s Deli on November 2, 2012. With your $20 donation you receive admission to the party, a custom shot glass and tastes from many local (and amazing) chocolate artists. Currently participating companies include: Amano, Millcreek Cacao, The Chocolate Conspiracy, Butcher’s Bunches, Hatch Family Chocolates, Food of the God’s and Chocolot. While you are at this party your admission ticket also qualifies you for giveaways. I am still working on these, but current sponsors include: Massage Envy and Bikewagon.com. I will update the list as more sponsor confirmations are recieved.
