Sweet Thursday by You from Twitter- “Friend”

Welcome to Sweet Thursday! This is the day when we talk about anything sweet. It can be something from you, or something from me. If you would like to recognize someone for being ‘sweet’ let me know here. Or email me. Or Facebook me. Or tweet me. Anything is fine. I have loved hearing what people are doing for others.

Friends

Anyway, since friends have been on my mind this week, I thought I would go to Twitter again to see what people were saying about friends.

Funny Truth@Funny_Truth

God has no Phone, but I talk to him. He has no Facebook, but he is still my friend. He does not have a Twitter, but I still follow him.

Spoiled Girl. @_SpoiledGirl

My daughter will be my best friend.

BestFriendsღ@BF4LP

Sometimes we forget how lucky we are to have a best friend ..

Friendship ♥@FRIENDSHlP

A true friend is someone who will listen to your pointless drama over and over again, not say a word

sinastr@Sinastr

A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.

That last quote has been a favorite of mine for a long time. I am also lucky enough to feel the same way about my family. It is when you really need someone you find out who those people are in your life. I just hope that I can be that person for others.

I would like to dedicate this post to all my blogger friends on the Utah Blogger Facebook group. There was an event that occurred last week and everyone really pulled together to support those that needed it. It was great to watch. It was so great to watch that friendship extend to forgiveness. I feel lucky to be part of such a great group.

Sweet wishes to all!

I love that quote too. It sounds like an amazing group of people to be associated with. You are such a great person, having that association with others is no surprise. :-)

I found the group because of another great person… who I think found it because of another great person. It is all about sharing the love! Okay, I have been reading about your job and a blog? I am not sure how you manage! I know I get really busy. :) Have a good day!

I love the positive in this post. In a negative world this is so refreshing to read! My mom always taught, “In order to have friends, one must be friendly!”

Going online does open up new doors for friendship. Even for me, that holds true :)

Yes, a real friend sticks by you through thin or thinner! They’re hard to find, but still do exist.

It is so true! I had no idea I would meet so many people and make new friends. Blogging has taught me a lot about online friendships and off line. I have already had some great experiences. Thanks for coming by!

I really like that very last quote! So, so true. It is in those times that I think we need our friends the most. And also when you realize who your true friends are! Stopping in from voiceBoks.

I absolutely love the concept behind this post. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT-can’t say that enough. I just think that we need to promote and recognize the good in people and the appreciation we have for them. So, I am so glad you are spreading love.

    Great job Gina.
