Hi Everybody!
There were no entries for Sweet Thursday this week! So I hope you do not mind if I indulge on a personal note. . .
Many of you may have noticed an individual lurking on this site making occasional comments as if he knows what is going on.
We call him Chocolate Dad around here. He is my husband and I will say one more time the name ‘Chocolate Dad’ is a bit ironic because he claims to not like chocolate.

How dare he…
Anyway, behind the sweet little world you see here, I wanted to introduce you to my number one man in the world and tell you a few things that I love about him.
1- I can be myself around him.
This is really important to me. For a lot of my life I felt that I needed to prove myself, to be tough- hence, my tomboy years. Around my husband I really feel like I can be a girl, I can just be me- and that is okay.
2- No matter what happens, it will all be okay.
I don’t expect a husband that is perfect. I do ask that apologies are made (on my part too) when necessary and that we work it out. I am lucky enough to have a husband that feels the exact same way.
3- He supports me 200%
I know, technically there is no 200%, but seriously he does. At a blog conference they made a list of what the husband does typically and what the wife typically does. I know that a good number of those items the wife typically does are on my husbands list. He is awesome.
Anyway, thanks for listening. I have a rockstar husband and I wish the same for every woman out there.

PS- Pictures were taken by Dave Labrum Photography- one ‘sweet’ photographer!

What a lovely tribute for your husband. He sounds like an amazing partner in life. I have one of those. It makes all the difference, doesn’t it?
Awesome! They just make life better! Thanks for coming by. Any plans for the weekend? We will be moving… I hope I get a chance to prep for the blog for next week…
Husband will probably pull through on some miracle.
I am looking forward to a relaxing week-end with my husband. Good luck with your move…I hate moving…Ugh!!!
I hear you on the hate moving… we are hopeful that we get to stay put for awhile. Hope you had a good weekend.
That is so sweet!
