Finally! I have found a use for those useless boards with knots and holes in them.
My husband is a man that certainly aims to please… he succeeds and then some. I asked him awhile ago to bring home 2 pallets for a project I had in mind. Somehow 2 pallets turned into 15! Does anyone need a pallet?
Anyway, I needed a quick gift and my brain always seems to turn to pictures. So here is what we did…using a piece of board that you might otherwise throw away.
Supplies needed: A piece of wood, a piece of paper, a short wooden dowel, picture, stain or paint, embellishments.
Pretty easy! Right?
Question for you. We were not sure how to decorate the blank part of the frame. I actually tried something that did not work. What ideas do you have to decorate the other half of this frame?
I would love anyone’s input!

I have to chime in…I only brought home 12 pallets, it wasn’t 15! All the same, I did overshoot the mark a bit. haha. Love you Chocolate Mom!

First of all I love the idea. It has given me inspiration and hopefully I will be able to act on it. To answer your question, maybe a cute or appropriate quote stenciled or burned in the blank part would be fun.
Okay, I will confess. I did try a transfer on to the board. First I tried by printing on to a piece of wax paper as I saw in a separate tutorial and I could not get the wax paper to go through the printer without getting crumpled. Then I tried an iron on transfer and that did not work either. I just am not sure that I trust my hand to be steady enough…
Thanks for coming by!
