Liebster Blog Award

Celebratory moment- my first blog award! Mom’s New Stage passed on the Liebster Blog Award to My Chocolate Peaces. The word Liebster is German and means sweetest, kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, kind, pleasant, valued, cute, endearing, and welcome. Isn’t that cool? As you all know, I am a big fan of things that are sweet, whether they are from chocolate or life.

11 random facts about me:

1- I almost drowned when I was 2 years old.

2- I used to work in Yellowstone National Park.

3- I like camping- I don’t like bugs.

4- I don’t care for white chocolate.

5- I would rather be mountain biking (or skiing).

6- I used to cry when I was little and my mom made me wear a dress.

7- I used to be an athletic trainer at the University of Utah.

8- I worked in the 2002 Olympic Village.

9- I tried ice climbing once and pulled the waterfall down (it was ice), luckily I was on top rope.

10- When I was pregnant I dreamed my husband wanted a divorce- very much not true.

11- I like to surf and I live in Utah!

1- What’s your favorite vacation you have taken?
Hawaii. Hard to beat: surfing, hiking, swimming and the best pineapple ever!
2- Name a historical figure you’d like to be able to interview.

3- What is your favorite holiday?
I will be honest, my birthday.
4- Store where you’d bankrupt yourself if there were no consequences?Travel Agency.
5- Favorite room in your home?
Usually the kitchen.
6- How do high heels make you feel?
I don’t where them. So clumsy, I guess.
7- Most overrated celebrity?
Snooki.
8- Favorite 80s song?
If I knew the titles of songs… I would tell you! I am just terrible that way.
9- Thing you would do monthly if time/money allowed?
Surfing trip.
10- Your go-to drink?
Water. If it is treat though, I would take a lassi (Indian drink) any day.
11- Your current favorite TV show?
I Love Lucy.
