Another great week! I am 2 weeks away from graduation and just itching to stop doing homework and more blogging,
Here are some of my favorite finds this week:
Turning ordinary furniture into something fabulous. My husband and I have always talked about some type of play kitchen for our little boy. What child does not engage in pretend play? This is an awesome way to R&R a piece of furniture that was headed for the landfill. This play kitchen was made from what looked like a small television stand, but a similar type of furniture could probably be used. Thanks to the creative minds at Create for this idea!

Colored plastic beads are not just for kids to use anymore. I used to use these little plastic beads to make designs on preset forms when I was younger. I love taking any item and putting a spin on it. The color of these bowls is also fantastic! Thanks to Wooz for the great idea!
This list reminded me of my little boy. We went for a short hike a few days ago and he was in to everything. He wanted to see the grass, he wanted to see the trees, some barbed wire that we found, he wanted to see the rocks and more. While my exploration focus has changed a bit from desert and mountain explorations to mommyhood I love to watch my new little explorer learning about his world. This list is obtained from a book by Keri Smith called “How to be an explorer of the world”.
Thanks! Have a great week!

P.S. I was not reimbursed financially for any words in this article

Those beads are awesome! I totally want to try that but I don’t speak…I am guessing Norwegian? Anyway is it oil and then microwave? Or what? Please email me!
I don’t speak Norwegian either. But if you look at the site, you can make out a few things like a temperature (200 is mentioned) and ovnen (oven?). Sorry I could not be much more help. I am definitely hoping to experiment soon, I will have to let you know how it goes for sure.
